Privacy Policy

1. Operator and scope

This policy draft concerns BAIL BONDS Magazine’s website and its articles, resources, calculator, newsletter enrollment, and submission forms. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to info@bailbondsmagazine.com or our contact page. It does not cover agents, employers, or external sites that you contact separately.

2. Information submitted through the website

  • Newsletter: email address and enrollment timestamp, for maintaining the subscriber list.
  • Contact: name, email address, optional subject, and message, for reviewing and responding to inquiries.
  • Contributions: name, email, optional professional role, working title, section, pitch or draft, and optional supporting link, for editorial review and communication.
  • Directory: business name, listing/service type, state and optional county/city, phone, email, optional website, description, languages, specialties, and availability, for reviewing and displaying approved listings.
  • Jobs: job title, company, location, optional state and salary, job type, description, and application contact, for reviewing and displaying approved postings.

These include identifiers, contact information, business/professional information, and whatever you choose to include in messages. Do not submit Social Security numbers, payment-account details, medical information, immigration identifiers, private defendant or cosigner records, or confidential case information. Forms do not require these details.

Calculator estimates and customization run in your browser; the calculator’s code does not submit the entered amount or company settings to the magazine. Exported embed code includes company details you choose to insert. Other hosting or tracking activity is separate from that calculation.

3. Purposes and public information

Submitted information is used to maintain newsletter enrollment, review inquiries and editorial proposals, evaluate directory and job submissions, communicate about them, operate the website, and address abuse or legal obligations. Newsletter distribution and any off-site exports must be confirmed before this draft is finalized.

Approved directory contact details and job descriptions/application contacts are public and may be copied by others. Submit only information intended for publication and that you have authority to provide. Contact messages, newsletter addresses, and unapproved editorial proposals are not published through the website’s public listings.

4. Service providers and disclosures

The website uses Lovable Cloud for hosting and stored form records. It loads Google Fonts, which sends requests to Google’s font servers; those requests can include an IP address and browser/network information. Vendors may process information to deliver their services under their own applicable arrangements.

The magazine does not operate a business of selling visitor contact lists. We use Google Analytics to understand website usage and Google AdSense to display and measure advertising. These are the only advertising or analytics services we use. Hosting, public listing publication, and other disclosures described in this policy are separate from selling contact lists.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to address fraud, security, or a lawful business transfer, subject to applicable protections. This statement is not authorization to make a transfer that requires a separate legal basis or choice.

5. Cookies, tracking, and browser signals

Hosting services can receive technical information such as IP addresses, request times, browser information, and requested pages. The exact hosting logs and retention practices have not been verified. Google Analytics and Google AdSense are enabled.

Google Analytics measures website usage and may collect visits, pages viewed, device/browser information, and interactions using cookies or similar identifiers, depending on configuration. Google AdSense delivers and measures ads and may use cookies, identifiers, IP addresses, and browsing activity. Personalized ads may involve activity across sites. Whether personalized advertising is enabled, the specific data settings and retention periods, and the implementation of required consent or opt-out choices have not been verified for this draft. See how Google uses information from partner sites.

Some personalized advertising arrangements can qualify as “sharing” under California law even without selling information for money. Where the actual Google configuration and applicable law require it, the magazine must provide the required notices and functioning choices. Enabling Google services alone does not establish whether a particular configuration constitutes sale or sharing; this draft does not claim a verified legal classification.

The reviewed website code does not implement a response to browser Do Not Track signals. Global Privacy Control is a separate opt-out preference signal: where California law requires it, a covered business must honor it for sale/sharing. A functioning site-wide implementation has not been verified here, and this draft does not claim that those signals are currently honored.

Browser settings may restrict cookies, but do not necessarily prevent server-side transfers or complete a statutory sale/sharing opt-out. Simply reading or using the site, or accepting its terms, is not affirmative advertising consent.

You can manage Google advertising preferences through Google My Ad Center and learn about the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. These Google tools have their own scope and limitations and do not replace any legally required website privacy choices.

6. California rights and privacy requests

California’s Online Privacy Protection Act requires disclosures for qualifying commercial websites collecting personal information from California residents. CCPA/CPRA coverage is a separate question depending on the operator’s business facts and statutory thresholds; coverage has not been determined for the magazine.

Where the CCPA applies, eligible California residents may request access to/knowledge of collected information, deletion, correction, and portability; opt out of sale or sharing; and limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information. Exceptions can apply. You may use an authorized agent and must not be discriminated against for exercising applicable rights.

For a request, email info@bailbondsmagazine.com with “California privacy request,” or use the contact form. State the request and enough information to locate your record; do not send identity documents or sensitive information unless a secure, necessary verification process is explained. Access, deletion, or correction can require proportionate verification; a sale/sharing opt-out must not be conditioned on creating an account or verifying identity as if it were an access request.

These are contact channels, not verified automated deletion or tracking controls. Where applicable, legal deadlines include acknowledgment of certain rights requests within 10 business days, a substantive response generally within 45 calendar days with a lawful extension when needed, and implementation of sale/sharing opt-outs generally within 15 business days. Any legally required additional request methods, notices at collection, preference-signal handling, and controls must be operational before compliance can be claimed.

You may also ask about California “Shine the Light” disclosures concerning certain sharing for third parties’ direct marketing, when that law applies. We have not confirmed qualifying direct-marketing disclosures.

7. Retention, security, and choices

Form records are stored for the activities described above; no automatic deletion schedule is implemented in the reviewed application. Fixed retention periods, backup deletion, and vendor retention remain unconfirmed. The intended criteria for a reviewed schedule are the purpose of collection, the status of the submission or subscription, applicable recordkeeping duties, and legitimate security or dispute needs, with information kept no longer than reasonably necessary.

No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Do not send confidential case files through ordinary forms or email. Ask about a safer channel before submitting information that needs special protection.

To review or correct a record, remove a public listing, or request newsletter removal, contact the privacy email and identify the relevant record. No self-service unsubscribe or deletion tool is currently included in the application. A request does not guarantee deletion where an applicable exception or legal retention duty exists.

8. Children and minors

The magazine’s forms are intended for adult business and editorial inquiries, not to collect children’s personal information. Do not submit information identifying a child. If a child’s information was submitted, contact us to request review and appropriate removal.

Where the CCPA applies and the business has actual knowledge a consumer is under 16, sale/sharing requires applicable affirmative authorization: a parent or guardian for children under 13, or the consumer for ages 13–15. These legal restrictions must be implemented in actual practices, not inferred from this statement.

9. Changes and official references

Material revisions will be identified on this page with a revised date and a prominent change notice; where required, additional notice or consent must be provided before a materially different use. A revision does not erase an existing opt-out.
